Ka Lok Wong(Steve)
I’m a macroeconomist (Associate Economic Affairs Officer) at the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) in Addis Ababa, working on growth, fiscal, and debt issues across the continent.
I completed my PhD in Economics at the Geneva Graduate Institute.
My work sits somewhere between International Finance, Macroeconomics, and Public Economics. If you have spent time on Stata-Comtrade, Python, or the African Debt Database, there is a fair chance we have crossed paths intellectually.
This website started as a side project during my PhD to keep old folders and half-finished ideas in one place. If anything here is useful for your own work, be it data source(s) or code, feel free to use it.
Standard disclaimer: views are my own, not of my employer.
